What's Worth Watching Notes - February 16, 2012

What's Worth Watching show #22 will replay Friday at 4am Eastern AND Saturday at 7pm Eastern on Howard 101.

With Ronnie out in LA taking care of Howard at America's Got Talent, we brought in Teddy Microphone to lend his expertise when it comes to British TV shows.

- Jenny's TV News
{Grammy ratings, Oprah tweets for ratings, Cougar Town marketing}
- This Is The Week That Was
{Grammys, Cougar Town, SNL, Survivor, The Walking Dead}
- Across The Pond with Teddy Microphone
- Interview with Busy Philipps
- What's Worth Watching: February 16 - February 22

- Kim Kelly wasn't in the F&G pilot but she was promised to be a series regular
- Excited her first job was with her college buddy Linda Cardellini
- Revealed the woman who played her F&G mom was method and mean to her
- NBC wouldn't air the "Kim Kelly Is My Friend" ep since it was too harsh
- Every NBC guy who now approaches her claims to be the one behind F&G
- Felt doing Dawson's Creek was an experience but the show wasn't for her
- Regrets appearing on Sarah Connor Chronicles 8 1/2 months pregnant
- Had her baby because the Writer's Strike gave her the time to do so

- Feels there's too much music happening in Downton Abbey

- Says Josh Hopkins & Christa Miller are the best Penny Can players
- Noted when the Penny Can is on set, absolutely no work gets done

- Recommended Downton Abbey which has taken over the nation
- Has seen Life's Too Short and heartily recommends it

- Turned Jon on to Luther which has only 10 episodes to see
- Strongly recommends the five seasons of Wire in the Blood
- Remembered Jason Isaacs as the baddie in Case Histories
- Loves The Thick Of It as one of his favorite Brit comedies

- Felt Zooey Deschannel did an excellent job on Saturday Night Live

- Got to talk to all the Cougar Town co stars who were so much fun

Jon Hein (
- Felt 20 minutes of the Grammys were worth watching (plus Tay Tay)
- Thinks Oprah is reeking of desperation with her tweeting and appearances
